The Role

We are looking to add an experienced Investment Banking Senior Associate to our Nordics team to help our growth efforts in Scandinavia.

Experience

  • Min 5-6 years of IB / sell side M&A experience & having closed at-least 4 – 5 deals in the past
  • Experience in IT Services or Technology M&A is highly preferred but not mandatory

Skills

  • Strong written & oral communication skills
  • Strong accounting and financial skills
  • Proficient in preparation of Information Memorandums, Pitches and Teasers
  • Proficiency in financial modelling & valuation techniques
  • Ability to multi-task and execute multiple mandates timely with minimal supervision
  • Ability to negotiate offers, deal structures, transaction documents (and key issues) involved in an M&A process
  • Team player & ability to work in a globally dispersed team
  • Flexibility to travel across Europe
  • Comfortable with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Conversant with databases like S&P CapIQ
  • Passion for Investment Banking

Responsibilities

  • Responsible to execute transactions end to end including the preparation of Pitches, Information Memorandums and Financial Models
  • Supporting/guiding a team of analysts and associates
  • Doing target and acquirer screening
  • Participate in management/buyer meetings, handle Q&As and negotiate offers
  • Assistance in drafting and evaluating various legal documents like NDAs, etc.,
  • Facilitation of buyer and seller interactions (organizing road shows, conference calls, etc.,)
  • Drafting meeting preparatory notes, management questionnaire, etc.,
  • Manage the due diligence and transaction documentation process
  • Take an active part in business development efforts of the team by participating in origination activity and making client pitches
  • Carry out extensive industry / company research and target data required for identification and assessment of possible mandates
